How it Works

CareTaker App helps you to keep track of your loved ones in a few innovative ways.

First, we send a daily text (SMS) message at designated time asking your CareRecipient to check-in.

They have 1 hour to reply to the message and if they don't, we make an automated Voice Call to them asking if everything is ok and if they need assistance.

In case there is no response, we automatically notify you (CareTaker) that your CareRecipient may need assistance.

CareTaker App works on feature phones, iPhone and Android phones.

Automated Daily Check-Ins via SMS and Voice-Call

CareTaker App comes with one Automated Daily Check-In via SMS and Voice Call.

In addition to required daily check in, CareTaker can add secondary daily Check-In (usually in the afternoon) and 4 additional custom Check-Ins (for example: Reminder to take therapy, reminder to measure blood pressure and similar).

Additional Check-Ins are app-based, meaning that CareRecipient will get notifications on their smartphone.

Location Sharing

CareTaker App comes with built-in Location Sharing, meaning that you as a CareTaker will see live location of your CareRecipient. If their phone is unavailable, you will be able to see their "Last known location".

*** This feature works only if your CareRecipient is using smartphone with Location Services enabled.

Live Activities

In case your CareRecipient needs help (for example, they need medical assistance when they are out of home), people assisting them will see their basic info on the Live Activity widget on the Lock Screen of their smartphone, making it easier to notify you in case of emergency.

You are in full control CareRecipient's privacy by selecting visible information on the Live Activity screen.
